This camp is for youth riders under 18. This camp will focus on horsemanship, horse husbandry, proper equitation and independent riding skills. We will work on horsemanship and equitation patterns and will ride both disciplines; english and western. We will work on obstacles in the cross country pasture, and enjoy trail riding. There will be class room time during breaks so campers can learn more about caring for horses and what goes on “behind the scenes.”
Students will be partnered with other riders who ride at their skill level meaning if the camper rides at an Advanced Beginner Level they will be paired up with another Advanced Beginner Level Camper. Campers will compete in a horse show on the last day of camp where the atmosphere will replicate a real horse show including ring stewards, a judge, announcer and ribbons. Family and friends are invited to come watch the horse show and attend the awards ceremony on the last day of camp.
The camp fee is $350.00. The $100.00 nonrefundable deposit holds your spot in this camp. We will accept 10 campers for this camp.
