The first AAHC Local Trainer showcase will be in June with Nancy and Jordan Faulkner from Cloud9 Ranch! Nancy and Jordan are a mother/daughter team of natural horsemanship trainers who have competed in a variety of mustang challenges as well as the GERL Rescue Challenge. They specializes in improving the relationship between the horse and rider and they prioritize relaxation.
Date/Time: June 19th noon to 2pm (refreshments start at 11am)
Location: Cloud9 Ranch – 948 Oconee Springs Rd, Eatonton, GA 31024
$15/person. Nancy and Jordan are donating their facility and time to this event. All funds raised will go into our account to help us work on the proposal for Heritage Park and the youth program we have in the works.
This will be a monthly event planned by AAHC. It is designed to be a social event where we gather and learn more about what a local trainer has to offer. To get the details on upcoming trainer showcases we have in the works – sign up for our newsletter, follow our Facebook page, or bookmark this page. This page will be where we post all the details about this exciting series.
From the attendee’s perspective, this is an opportunity to learn about local trainers. Depending on the trainers skill set, you may be able to watch the trainer train/work horses or watch them teach a few lessons. The fee to attend the event will vary from event to event but will be around $25/person.
Want to learn what we are doing with the attendance fees? Click here to read more about what we do here at AAHC. Like many of the things we do here at Athens Area Horse Community, we want to make sure these events benefit local community members in lots of ways! So while we are showing members of the community what local trainers have to offer and promoting their businesses at events like these – additional benefits include funding the non-profit youth program that we have in the works, increasing our name recognition and the name recognition of our corporate sponsors across the area, and providing a networking and socializing opportunity for the community.
